3000' doors off above Fissure 8! (360/VR of the LERZ eruption 2018

Recorded in 360 and Virtual Reality on-location in Hawaii, June 1-6. 
Areal views from Helicopter doors-off 3000' above Fissure 8 captures the scale of the 2018 LERZ (Lower east Rift Zone)
eruption of Kilauea Volcano. Massive lava flows, ocean entries and an effusive lava fountain of the
newly formed Fissure 8 create new land, but in the process it has displaced people,
consumed structures and devastated parts of the Puna District of Hawaii

And … no one knows what’s next.
