Cinder, 10, has a condition known as Alopecia - and lost all her hair when
she was a baby. Otherwise healthy, she is not treated differently by the
chimps. SHe was born at the Saint Louis Zoo, the daughter of Smoke and Molly.
Cinder was afraid to go outside, but at the time wanted to stay close to Smoke,
her father. After about 90 days, she started exploring the yard. She, Jimiyu,
Smoke and Tammy move in a "pack" outside.
