M'Linzi, 14 years old, is the alpha female of the group. She has been
described as a "drama queen". Day 3, she ventured out into the yard
with 4 other chimps, checked out the waterfall, climbed the trees -
anything to stay off the squishy grass! No one seems to know exactly
what happened after she retreated back inside the "display area" for 3 days
but she didn't eat or sleep. She made one more brief appearance outside,
lounging on the rocks, doting on the attention during a "Staff Opening",
and hasn't been seen outside since. I'ts been 4 months.
